PAULA COX: CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

PAULA COX: CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Kids….from the littlest to the biggest…Miss Paula has been working with kids for more years than she would care to count. God has placed a huge desire to work with kids, in Miss Paula’s heart. When she was a little girl growing up in Pennsylvania, she spent her time playing school and playing dolls. Her love for kids has only grown over the years as she has taught all ages of kids and adults in church settings, in school and in workshop settings. After teaching toddlers all the way to senior adults, it is the kids that touch her heart and motivate her to look for new ways to share Jesus’ story. She is stirred by their childlike faith and their eagerness to learn about Jesus. And so, it is with a little bit of flair, a dash of creativity, a touch of whimsy, and an all-out love for God’s children, that Miss Paula does what she does: teach and lead our children’s department.

When Miss Paula isn’t teaching the kids at church or at Destiny Christian School, she is hanging out at home with her husband, Pastor Jim. She is a mom, wife, sister, aunt, friend, co-worker, teacher, "fur baby" mom, baker, cook, and passionate follower of Jesus.
